IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ - NO UPDATES FROM JUNE 2005

This web site began life way back in 1998. Since then it's been a "labour of love" to keep it running. But I don't have the time to do it any longer. As of June 2005 the site will not be updated with fixtures, results, league tables or travel finder directions/details. That said, the site will remain as a "reference tool" with five seasons' worth of results in the archive. And put up the odd snippet of news.

The Speedway Travel Finder began life on 4 August 1998, after I sent a letter to the promoters of all Elite, Premier and Dunlop Conference League speedway teams in England, Scotland and Wales. I also sent a follow-up letter via Neil Machin (Sheffield promoter) and the BSPA.The information given replies from tracks has been used to compile the travel directions and other details to be shown on that team's page in the original Travel Finder.

To compile the Travel Finder, I've used responses to my letters together with my recollections of how I got there by road if I've visited your team's track. Information in the Travel Finder is correct to the best of my knowledge. Please let me know if any information for your track is incorrect and I'll put it right - though see the "important note" above.
